The Shield of the West
Elandor fights as it governs—slowly, precisely, without waste. Its armies do not seek decisive annihilation, but controlled endurance. Ground is held through preparation, terrain mastery, and disciplined coordination between steel and mind.
Forces: Thur Velyx Pael — the Order of the Last Light, serving as both knightly order and standing army of the realm.
Doctrine: Defensive endurance, psionic coordination, and mastery of terrain. Battles are treated as problems to be solved, not contests to be won.
Elite Units
Pael’Korthyn — The Lightward Sentinels
Blade-and-mind guardians of the Chasm Wall. Trained in coordinated formations,
reflective signaling, and psionic countermeasures, they are the first to face incursions
from the western wastes.
Solthir Vael — The Dawnsworn
A winter cavalry order that rides mirrored routes and signal paths at dawn and dusk.
Their banners are visible miles away in reflected light, rallying allies and warning
settlements of approaching threats.
Civil Readiness
Vael’Thur Kess — The Call of Reflection
A mirror-and-lantern signal system taught to every citizen of Elandor. From farmsteads
to citadels, reflective codes can summon aid, mark evacuation routes, or warn of
chasmic movement when the western winds stir.
In Elandor, defense is not the burden of soldiers alone. Vigilance is civic duty, and survival is a shared discipline.
